Safety of the MAZELAKI hammock

The MAZELAKI hammock for prams has undergone rigorous safety tests carried out in an accredited laboratory in accordance with applicable industry standards for children's products.

The hammock was tested in combination with the Petit&Mars stroller, one of the most popular models on the market.

The scope of the tests covered aspects that were important, even to a limited extent, for the safe use of the product in combination with the stroller.

• verification of the overall safety of the product when used as intended,
• assessment of the stability of the hammock + stroller set,
• verification of the strength and effectiveness of the fastening system,
• verification of the protection of the child against hazards related to moving parts, cords, detachable small parts, and finger entrapment in openings and gaps.

The tests were carried out in an accredited laboratory using the methods specified in the following standards:

PN-EN 1888-1+A1: 2022-09 entitled ‘Children's articles. Pushchairs. Part 1: Strollers and carrycots’

PN-EN 1888-2+A1:2023-05 ‘Children's products. Pushchairs. Part 2: Pushchairs for children of body mass over 15 kg to 22 kg’

The tests took into account the most unfavourable conditions of use, i.e. maximum load and intensive use

Test conclusions: The MAZELAKI hammock meets the safety requirements covered by the test programme. It can be safely used as an additional seat for transporting a second child in a pram, provided that it is correctly installed and used in accordance with the instructions.
